Kennesaw Mountain High School, in conjunction with the Cobb County School District, have developed a new online Athletic Registration for participation in athletics at Kennesaw Mountain High School.


Parents will use the Athletic Registration to submit the required consent, insurance, and medical information for your student’s athletic registration.  Students must be in grades eight through twelve to register for athletics.


Accessing the Student Athletic Registration To access the Athletic Registration Application, log into your ParentVUE account.  Two links to the ParentVUE login are available from the Parents’ menu on the Cobb County School District’s home page (www.cobbk12.org).

SCHOOL PRIDE: KMHS recognized by the Georgia Department of Education.

State School Superintendent Richard Woods today named 272 Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Schools. Fifteen Cobb County high schools were included in this prestigious honor. The Cobb schools being recognized by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) fall into five  categories, based on the results of 2015 AP courses and exams. Your school was named as an honor school in four categories:

Kennesaw Mountain was named as an AP Merit School: Merit schools have at least 20 percent of the student population taking AP exams and at least 50 percent of all AP exams earning scores of 3 or higher.

Kennesaw Mountain was named as an AP STEM School. Stem schools have students testing in at least two AP math courses and two AP science courses (AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics B, AP Physics C, AP Computer Science).

Kennesaw Mountain was  named an AP STEM Achievement School: Stem achievement schools have students testing in at least two AP math courses and two AP science courses, and at least 40 percent of the exam scores on AP math and AP science exams earning scores of 3 or higher.

Kennesaw Mountain was named an AP Humanities School: Humanities schools have students testing in all of the following AP courses: at least one ELA course, two social sciences courses, one fine arts course and one world language course.

SCHOOL PRIDE: KMHS Ranked 19th best in Georgia 2nd in Cobb.

Kennesaw Mountain was recently named the 19th best high school in the state of Georgia by the "Best Public High Schools" rankings. KMHS finished 2nd in Cobb County as well.

The
2016 Best Public High Schools ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of the overall experience of a public high school.  This grade takes into account key factors such as the strength of academics, quality of teachers, school resources, the quality of student life, as well as student and parent reviews, in an attempt to measure the overall excellence of the school.
